Volterra Coffee Beans

We have the option of four different coffee beans in our exclusive range of Italian inspired espresso blends, with the Volterra being our darkest roast. Intense full-bodied roast with cocoa flavours and a lingering nutty finish it is bound to invigorate!

Carefully slow-roasted in small batches using state-of-the-art Italian Brambati roasters, our beans are crafted to ensure exceptional quality and freshness. We guarantee a best-before date of up to one year.

Provenance

Origins: Brazil, Central America and India.

Brazil
The Brazil coffee provides the base of this blend giving body and sweetness. This coffee is naturally processed and sourced from the Minas Gerais region of Brazil.

Central America
The Central American coffee in this blend contributes body, balance and a touch of acidity. Sourced mainly from Honduras or Peru depending on harvest times.

India
Almost all of the coffee grown in India is shade grown and is often intercropped with plants such as cardamom, clove and pepper. Robusta coffee from India is added to the blend to give body and allows the coffee to cut through heavy milk-based drinks.

Tasting Notes

Intense full-bodied roast with rich notes of cocoa flavours nutty overtones.

Brewing Method

We’ve carefully developed this profile for the best results when freshly ground for espresso or milk-based coffees. Please note that these espresso beans won’t deliver the same flavor if used in filter machines or a cafetière. For those brewing methods, we recommend exploring our single-origin Colombian ground coffee range.

Packaging

After resting, our coffee is nitrogen-flushed to remove oxygen that can cause degradation, preserving exceptional freshness. We package our beans exclusively in 100% recyclable kraft bags, each sealed with a one-way valve to maintain quality.
