MUST BE USED IN UPRIGHT POSITION Around 70% or more of ice machine break-downs and malfunctions are caused by poor water quality and scale. Off taste and odours in the ice affect the quality of food and drinks. In hard water areas, scale deposits cause cloudy ice, poorly formed ice cubes and frequent maintenance problems. Water borne organisms can also cause slimes to form within the machine. Pre-coat Filter: Removes all impurities as small as 0.5 micron in size. Eliminates off taste and odours such as chlorine which also corrodes equipment. Filters out asbestos fibres, cysts and micro-organisms such as cryptosporidium. KDF Media: Incorporates KDF Media to control formation of limescale and inhibit slime and mould (a major cause of blocked spray nozzles and pipes). Height: 480mm
